MY STORY photo project goes to Ei Tu Hta

New Teacher, New Students

In 2006 Der Lweh Htoo was one of the first students at the MY STORY photo project. In 2009 he trained to be a photo workshop leader; he has just completed his first teaching assignment at Ei Tu Hta Camp, on the Thai/Burma border.

Getting there is half the fun: by truck, by boat, and by foot. This is a camp for internally displaced people, just inside the Burmese border. The project provided transport, food, and equipment for Dew Lweh and his students. He provided instruction and inspiration.

These are the results. We're pretty proud of him and his students.
